As every year, the team’s goal was to fight for the championship title. In a fiercely competitive nine-team regular season, HS Kurbads secured 3rd place. The team delivered a convincing win in the quarterfinals against HK Dinaburga/DSS, but despite great determination and effort, they were defeated in the semifinals by HS Falcons, losing the series 0–2.

Head coach Toms Bluks shared his thoughts at the end of the season:
“A big thank you to the guys for their hard work, energy, emotions, and attitude throughout the year. Of course, we all wanted to go all the way and reach the top. This time we fell short, but now we’re analyzing what was missing and what needs to improve. The work continues—we’re already slowly starting to prepare for next season. Thank you all for this season!”
