For the first time in its history, the Hockey School Kurbads becomes the champions of the Junior Development Hockey League (JAHL), defeating the Zemgale Juniors team 3-1 in the final series.
Recently, we told you with great pleasure and pride that, for the first time in its history, Kurbads Hockey Club lifted the Estonian championship trophy, and now the JAHL team has rewritten history as well. It has been a very intense and hard season, with many of our players playing in both the Latvian and Estonian championships, but at the start of the season the goal was clear to all of us – we will lift the cup! We can be very proud that our players, thanks to their fighting spirit, motivation, hard work and dedication, have managed to lift both trophies. You proved to yourselves and to others that there is POWER IN KURBADS! Teamwork is power!
